Just got this one today. Sounds pretty true.

The PMO has announced the appointment of LGen RR Henault (DCDS) to be CDS.

Great, we've got another airforce guy to fix the army. How long did the last bluejob stay in the appt? Heck, can't even remember his name he was so memorable for his sweeping changes. Guess we'll have to give him a chance though, maybe he'll suprise us.

The most recent CDS that was a blue guy was Gen Boyle...you know "mea culpa"...subordinates lacked "moral fibre", etc.

I've met LGen Henault (helicopter pilot) and he seemed like a decent enough sort. We'll have to wait and see how politics affects him.. I think he was the best of the three to four they were looking at.

Any guy that publicly states he will "stay the course" and "not make any sweeping changes" can't be all that good.
