M113
The M113 is currently Canada's primary APC. Developed in the 1950s, Canada purchased about 1200 beginning in the mid-1960s. It has a crew of 2 and can hold a section of 11 infantry soldiers, who use a ramp with a crew door. The crew commander has a .50 calibre MG and the vehicle is fully amphibious. There are numerous combat support variants in service with the Canadian army.
