Just a point that not all might not know - support trades such as clerks, truckers, supply, etc do a TQ 5 crse for prom to cpl and then JLC for their leaf. The infantry does not have TQ 5 crses. They run PCFs (MG, Mortar, Comms, etc) as part of their TQ 4/OJT and their JNCO (or ISCC for old guys) is double hatted as their TQ5 and JLC together. Just a short point. Hope it helps clarify - we all need the JLC/JNCO - call it what you want - to be promoted to MCpl/MBdr/MS.
