I know you didn't mean to insult gunners, probably just didn't know that the guns ARE the colours of the artillery. Inscribed with the sovereign's royal cipher on each barrel and accorded the same rights and dignity as all other colours when on parade.
Very interested to learn of the unique colours carried by the medics. Any others out there?
