Having experienced wearing DEU daily I found the dry cleaning was a little expensive, however I did not come close to expending my CUA on replacement. I suggest you might be a little hard on on your clothing if that was the case.
The majority of people do not come close to expending the CUA they receive for its intended purpose. I believe there was a study to that effect completed just a few years ago.
While saying that, I noted while riding Ottawa's wonderful public transit system, quite a few people that should have spent their CUA on maintaining their DEU and obviously didn't!
