I wholeheartedly agree to the "nice" problem. The government is confusing "nice" and "polite", just as people confuse "pain" with "discomfort". I believe in being polite in everyday situations. In fact, it is something that I strive to be, and I think that everyone should practice the concept. But, on the other hand, just because one is polite, does not mean that one is "nice". Speed, violence, and aggression, when it is learned to be used proportionately to a situation, is the cure-all. Peace is beautiful, and should be something that people should work towards, but in overall, we are still animals, still territorial. Peace is an impossible dream that is made by people to weak to face reality, but it is still a dream that should be pursued.
I believe in "politeness", but if you insist on aggravating me, I may be shaking your hand with my right, but remember, I will still break your jaw with my left.
The Brits are proud. With strength comes pride.
