There's no one, single, solitary, guaranteed "career profile" with an absolute, one hundred per cent success rate of producing the "perfect" soldier or officer (nor is there consensus on what "perfect" is or should be - after all, we're all only human ... or at least most of us are ... chuckle).
The bottom line remains: "Do you want to go to war with buddy?" If yes, then the debate is closed. If no, then perhaps one of you should resign (and, by the way, after reading some of the lamentable replies/posts here, don't be too quick to assume the other guy is the one who should be leaving).
Oh, and in case anybody is wondering, I'm not leaving yet, either (apparently, there are still some of us left who might be able to contribute positively)
