It's long past due for the Canadian Gov't to recognize peacekeeping service however, the criteria to award same has been so watered down

perhaps a clasp for those single mothers who are breastfeeding to show we really appreciate the overall contributions they have made to the CF.
Maybe a NDHQ/NDMC long service medal for those chair warmers in Ottawa who needed another ribbon to go along with the beer and bratwurst medal
and their CD. But the highest award should reserved for the Jimmy who realized that there is another way to increase the total number of "women"
in the CF by having his dick cut off !!! If the national press is to be believed, we will soon be awarding medals to those who have concealed spousal
abuse or turned in thier buddies for poaching lobster. Where is the NOBEL Peace Prize clasp to those of us who completed peacekeeping tours prior to 1988?
Was it Gen Dallaire who shot that down? By the way, why do we have to pay for the privledge of having our medals mounted? Don't tell me that's what CUA is for...
