michael i completely agree with you. the point you're missing though is that CT Financial (Canada Trust) is the holder of the Group Rsp plan for the military. If CF personnel threatened to take that business somewhere else, then I guess their profit taking monsters might notice if they lost over 100 000 thousand customers. the average group rsp is roughly
$20,000 or more. add that up with the loss of the account, credit cards, mortgages and the accounts of the family members of CF personnel. sure they make money off corporate investments, but by the scenario i've described to you; i think it would place a major dent into their profit margins wouldn't you? Remember,
the group rsp plan that most of you have has money invested in the very corporate investments that they make money off of..... that's a double whammy for you and me..... furthermore, the ceo's and top managers of these banks are "systemically racist" by the nature of their very lending policies. why don't you do this yourself? get a friend of yours who is black, and both of you take turns going into a branch for setting up an account or applying for credit. i can guarantee you that you will be treated far better than your black friend... what's happening isn't funny at all, and something should be done about it.
