Without sounding like a recruiting poster, I love my job. I have been in the Corps since completing Ph IV about 10 years ago. The Infantry is a challenging, rewarding occupation that allows you to personally lead some of the best soldiers in the world. With the acquisition of LAV, TCCCS and other new (high speed?) kit, our job has become more exciting and fun.

That having been said, the Infantry is as political and has in its ranks a select few assholes who will cause you grief and wonder why you ever joined. As you near the 1/2-way point of Phase III, and you're cold, wet and exhausted, you'll wonder that outloud... But these trials are few and far between, and are far outweighed by the rewards.

I would recommend the job to anyone, Pl Commanding is the best job you will ever have!
