Civi interested in Infantry Officer information

Hello all. I am a civilian who is applying for a position in our Canadian Army.
I enjoy being outside and as stated in one of the threads posted here I am "one of the people who needs to know if they can make it.
I was wondering if there were any Officers (Infantry and Artilary especially) who would like to share some of their experience? I have always loved tanks and other heavy machinery but I really have no idea what it is like to be in one!
I am applying to be an officer... so if there is any advise or stories of your training that you would like to share...let me know! Are there any good websites? Anything from someone who has been there would be greatly appreciated.signed...a fellow Canadian
