About the name thing, as far as I know there is no database to search. At least not one that we have access to. All I can suggest is to ask around on some Canadian Airborne pages and see what you can turn up. The link below may help you out.

There is some talk, a rumour if you may, that the Para companies (3RCR, 3PPCLI, 3R22R) may be lost this April and that a Para company will be stood up in the near future in Trenton made up of the afor mentioned. Something about having a posted unit(quick reaction, disaster assisstance) there to act as the DART so it would be more readily deployable. So this may be the future of the Airborne forces in Canada, someone else might know more about this tha I. Regimental Rogue perhaps?
