I think that a "drop-leg" panel that holds six M-203 40mm rounds would be an ideal system. This would enable the grenadier to maintain his number of required rifle magazines on the vest, while carrying enough grenade rounds. It seems though that the new Canadian load bearing vest doesn't have a waist belt, and is designed to ride higher than the rucksack's waist belt...so this causes a problem on how to attach/utilize any such drop leg panels.
