Unfortunately what you say has alot of truth to it in some cases offrs and ncos are sent to schools or reserve support staff as a means of getting them out of units and it only does a larger disservice to the corps that they belong to.

You seem like a cadet that has some pride take what you can from all your training dont worry about all the skills they will come with time and hopefully you will come across some real offr and ncos that will guide you in the right direc
