I tend to agree with many of your comments, overall the offr
corps has been in a decline. I must point out, I had tremendous
interaction with many of my recruits because the
last batch of them were also part of a QL3 course
I was course offr for, immediately after the
recruit school closed. The only common link in their
introductory training was me and of course the
quality of instruction of all of their jr and sr leaders.
I was ultimately responsible for the quality and consistency
of training of my company along with the assistance of
the CSM, standards cell and my WO Pl comds.

That was of course a different time and place so don't let my squinted,
misty eyes and smirk fool you, without the guidance of the WO and Sgt and MCpls, I would
have been lost.
