Kara,
the first thing you want to do is go talk to your local recruiting office. There is NO implied commitment to go and talk about options and opportunities, investigate the different officer classifications and to see what the Army is looking for. The recruiter can also answer your questions about fitness levels and continuing in university.
Currently, the Canadian Forces wants all of its officer intake to have university degrees, and that means that most will have their education financed by the military. (If you join after graduation there is no reimbursenment.) Usually you would be sent to Royal Military College for this, and take your military training during the summer. Since you have already started in a civilian university, the military may well be willing to continue subsidizing your attendance there. Good luck
Mike
