It was a sad day when I dismissed one of the last
platoon at the parade square in Cornwallis, knowing
that Saint-Jean would become among other things
the Recruit training centre. I too have visited the
Mega many times and unfortunately even spent three
months there on a French course. It is an excellent
facility for a Management Development course but a
terrible training environment for officer or
recruit basic courses.
