The "PLUGS" were disbanded in 1965. You can find some

The "PLUGS" still have an association that meets yearly,
however they are considering disbanding as the age
of the surviving vets is getting on and the turnout is
dropping. My father was a "PLUG" and attended the
reunion in May this year in Ottawa.
