I would like to identify the unit my father was in during World War II.
He served in the Canadian Army for 3 years as an enlisted soldier, training to become an
officer. Those in his his unit were due to be commissioned as second lieutenants in the Canadian infantry, shortly after the atomic bomb was dropped
on Japan. Rather than be sent to occupation duty in Germany, he chose to leave the military and return to school. He has a photograph of his unit with the following words at the bottom:

No. 3. Pt. C.T.A.A. COY., O.T.C. Wing,
Vernon, B.C. Sept. 1945

Is there anyone who can decipher these abbreviations (C.T.A.A. COY.)? I believe I know what the rest means.
