The country was evenly split 50/50 for and against
Fascism. During and immediately after the war the
Netherlands was a political hotbed. Obviously, the
German occupation was not a tenable, viable,
long-term condition for the country. With guns the
Dutch could have helped more in the efforts to
liberate their country. That's why the Allies
parachuted guns in to them at night. The spirit was
willing...
