Crossed rifles over three maple leaves and the motto Ducimus (we lead) is the badge of the Canadian Infantry Corps. This badge is used to represent the infantry, and is worn by infantry soldiers in training (both Officers at the Canadian Infantry School, and Non Commissioned Members at their area battle schools).
Similarly, the mailed fist is used in the badge for the Canadian Armoured Corps.
