i may be behind in my doctrine here, but since world war II has the tank not 
generally had the largest role in the outcome of damn near every battle in a 
open warfare situation? as far as i know the way armour performed in battle 
more or less dictated who came out on top. and seeing as how our tanks are, 
what now, 40 years old, perhaps getting some better ones is a decent idea. 
either that, or maybe putting it back into the training budget. many people 
have voiced negative opinions over the way training has been underfunded 
since i joined this mailing list.
